TOP 10 TIPS TO BURN OFF THAT WINTER CHUB

Winter is the season to be jolly and eat merrily but as summer is soon approaching we are all in the bid to get into shape. Don’t we hate reading long tips which seem almost impossible to keep up with? But not to fear I’m here with some personal tips that have worked effectively many times to burn off those calories.

ONE

Exercise moderately with aerobics & weights, gradually increasing the intensity as fat is lost.

TWO

Gradually cut back on all bad fats, while strategically cutting back on carbohydrates.

THREE

Drink at least 1/2 gallon of water per day:- Drink plenty of water to maintain feelings of fullness and help with fat mobilisation.

FOUR

Make sure you eat a well balanced breakfast:- Your body has been starving whilst you have been asleep and in order to function properly you need to feed the brain.

FIVE

Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables:- in order to curb your sweet tooth it's advised you stick to naturally sweetened produce, as extra sugar from soft drinks is stored in your body as fat.

SIX

Drink black coffee before a work out:- instead of glucose based drinks the caffeine allows for the fat to be used as the fuel.

SEVEN

Decrease portion size and increase number of portions:- statistics show that the more regular meals eaten encourages the body to burn more fat.

EIGHT

Consume more healthy fats :- Flaxseed, avocado, seeds and nuts.

NINE

Eat more fibre: Fibre enables you to feel fuller as well as lowering insulin levels.

TEN

The act of chewing and digesting food burns more calories.
